A SWOT Analysis

I'm back!

I'm sure you're thinking "What is a SWOT Analysis?"

A SWOT Analysis is almost a self-reflection displayed most commonly in the format presented below
That's what's most commonly referred to as a basic SWOT analysis. Here, I have tried to criticise myself and show you some of my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Below, I have included another analysis, where I went into more depth on some of the points listed above:

I've tried to show you some of the reasoning behind these points of criticism. Hopefully this is enough for you to understand what it is that I am trying to show you; a reflection on weakness and strength and why I feel these have been placed in the category they have. The same applies for the opportunities and threats. In this "Enhanced SWOT Analysis" we can see some explanation as to why these points have been placed where they are.

The next post is going to be a Skills Audit, or skills analysis document. Stay tuned!

  1. Love how you constructed the SWOT analysis. Initial breakdown of points and then explaining them further is good way to expand your analysis. You can create these online using our SWOT analysis tool. When you create them online you can always refer them even from your smartphone. Plus you can keep track and expand on your diagram compared to a static one.
